Run Windows 98 SE on your USB Flash Drive!

I spent just about a month on this. You can run Windows 98 SE on you usb flash drive, but when doing this you have no access to your computers hard drive. You can restart your PC\Laptop to boot onto your hard drive. No worries!! :D (I take no responsibility for any damage that may happen, and I take no responsiblity to what is done with this)

Requirements: 1 USB Flash Drive (Its a little easier if you have 2 of them though >_<) It must be at least 1 GB. An original copy of Windows 98 SE. (I never tested this on the original edition) OKE DOOKIE! LETS GET STARTED! 1) Download win98boot HERE Extract it to a temporary folder like on desktop.
2) Download HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool HERE
3) Install HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool and run it
4) Insert your USB Flash Drive
5) Use the Program to format your flash drive into "fat32" and check "create a dos startup disk"
6) Browse and locate the "win98boot" folder.
7) Begin the format process.

8) Now insert your Windows 98 SE CD.
9) Copy the whole CD to your 2nd flash drive (Unless you only have 1 to begin with, Make a folder called "WIN98SETUP" on your flash drive, and copy the contents to the CD in that folder)
10) The copy process could take time >_<
11) When its done copying restart your PC\Laptop.
12) When it starts to start up go to boot order and choose to boot from your flash drive.
13) A screen saying "WINDOWS 98" will quickly appear and then disappear.
14) Now your on the command prompt, type "D:" (If your the installation is on this Flash Drive then type "cd\WIN98SETUP"
15) Now type "setup /c /it /p a;b" *without quotations.
16) Follow the installation instructions
17) If you get any errors at the start of it just continue like normal, Once you get to driver detect it will prompt you before installing any drivers. Only click "YES" to the drivers you are comfortable with and think that the windows 98 disk has the drivers to. "I have clicked "No" to everything and still have a success.
18) You may get an error about not installing Java, ignore it. :D
19) It should Install normal from here!! Good Luck!!

*Note - Im still working on installing drivers for my Acer Aspire One, no luck so far. Also, you wont have USB support. I know that sounds wierd since your booted off of a USB stick but.....yeah lol
